We've just finished fitting out the packing area for a client who has recently moved into a brand-new warehouse.
The layout is six Makestation packing stations along a sloping gravity roller conveyor. Packed orders roll straight down the line to dispatch, so nobody is carrying parcels across the floor or waiting for space to clear.
Each station is built for the job:
- Pigeonhole storage under the bench for packaging
- Divider shelving above for sorting
- Louvre panel with bins for tape, labels and small parts
- Monitor arm and scanner/keyboard shelf
- Cable ports for a tidy work surface
